India’s longest expressway links Delhi with Mumbai through Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, and is opening up new locations for planned development.
The expressway is being built by NHAI in sections, several of which are already open, including the stretch from Sohna near Gurugram into Rajasthan. When complete it runs about 1,350 km.
For township buyers, the most relevant locations are near its interchanges and spurs — for example around Sohna in Gurugram and near Dausa, which has a spur towards Jaipur. Access-controlled expressways only help a location if there is an interchange nearby.
